Wild Inc. Definitely one of the better albums I've ever listened to. Nicely executed.
Marshall Lochbaum

Marshall Lochbaum Post-metal with very good hooks and talented though repetitive drumming. Something like 5ive (no, the other one) mixed with Baroness. It's amazing how much better they sounded before the cleaner production of Red Giant. Favorite track: Red Winds.
Russell Whyman

Russell Whyman I got their Red Giant album and enjoyed it so much I thought I'd get this one too.

Another well played instrumental rock album. Well worth a listen.

Frederick Jones I love when a band uses their music to tell a story. Concept albums are not written enough these days. This band tells an amazing story with their instruments and it really is quite a story that's told. Great musicianship and stellar songwriting make this one hell of a story. Favorite track: Apparition by Moonlight.

Thomas V Concept albums have always been my favorites, and "Imprecari Island" is no exception. Close your eyes and set off on a voyage of great musicianship. Favorite track: Pirates.

about

Imprecari Island, the debut album by Barrows follows the journey of a group of sailors who get stranded on a cursed island. Their shipwreck, time on the island, and eventual escape is portrayed through the first eight tracks and is followed by the vast finale that takes place back out at sea, "Pirates".
